Primary Purpose of Role
• To provide process technical support to existing customers
• To work with the customers RD team to develop new process applications and also assist customers with new process production qual.
• To help customers resolve any process related issue on SPTS tools.
• To work with colleagues on new accounts to win the market share.
• To assist Sales/Marketing team with customers demo activities.
Key Behavioral Competencies
• Hands-on experience on Dry Etch/PVD/PECVD tools > 8years, with 5 at a management level
• Fab experience or equipment supplier experience > 8 years, with 5 at a management level
• Supervisory experience within the semiconductor field or other capital equipment area
• Excellent communication and customer interfacing skills
• Good command of English - speaking, writing and reading
• Ability to show initiate and drive to close issues
• Ability to resolve conflict, dealing with equipment owner, section manager and fab manager to ensure that goals and objectives are met
• Demonstrated leadership in process development ( published papers preferred )
Manager position will involve some international travel - regionally within Asia at least once per quarter and also to the UK factory at least once every 6 months.
Qualifications & Experience
• Degree minimum, Master is required, Phd preferred in a science related subject (preferably physics or chemistry)
• Experience in leading and developing Process Engineers
• Proven track record in defining and delivering project roadmaps and milestone plans
• Excellent presentation skills
• Experience in leading customer meetings and influencing relevant parties to reach a decision
