Position Summary:
This position is responsible for Korea FSU Accounts Receivables, VAT filing, and Supplier Master maintenance for all Korea location and Fixed Asset management for 1 Legal entity.
Scope/Supervision and Interaction:
Report to Korea FSU Finance Manager and work with other internal departments of the Company for cash application / note receipts, sales verification, registration of suppliers and Fixed Asset management.
Job Responsibility:
Accounts Receivables
- Apply daily receipts of cash and promissory notes from various banks’ website
- Make sure all collections (cash and promissory notes) are in the right customer ledger
- Prepare Inter-Company AR statement and work with accounts payable personnel overseas for any variance
- Reconcile balances for promissory notes with documents from various bank
VAT Filing
- Review and compare transactions for sales and purchases (inventory & non-inventory) with tax invoices issued from National Tax Service on monthly basis
- Prepare the internal documentation for approval of VAT filing
- Proceed the actual filing in National Tax Service.
Supplier Master Management
- Review the supplier registration form validating the attached file and information, such as business registration number, banking information, supplier type and etc.
- Register a new supplier master information for activation
- Manage the supplier master file for existing supplier, when necessary, such as name, address, bank account and etc.
Fixed Asset management
- CIP file and AFE project management for sox and audit
- Fixed asset registration process
- Process for depreciation of fixed assets
General Accounting
- Perform Balance Sheet reconciliation for AR accounts by the due date each month
- Support for external and internal audit for Sales, Accounts Receivables and receipts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
- 0 ~ 5 years working in multinational corporations with similar background.
- Experience on JDE system is a plus
